Welcome.

This website offers an introduction to me and my therapy practice. My approach is relational, creative, and goal-oriented, drawing on extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, mindfulness, Ecotherapy, and a lifelong engagement with the creative arts. The information here can help you decide whether we may be a good fit.

If you’ve often felt different from others—misunderstood, unseen, or uncertain how to navigate the world with your unique perspective—you may find our work together especially helpful.

I integrate the insight and emotional depth of Schema Therapy with the practical skills of DBT, alongside mindfulness, writing, nature-based awareness, and creativity. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey approached with curiosity, compassion, and a sense of discovery. I have particular expertise in adult ADHD and neurodivergence, offering a strengths-based perspective that helps clients better understand themselves and thrive.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a writer and journalist covering technology, video games, and internet culture in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York. Combined with my lifelong connection to the natural world, these experiences shape the perspective I bring to therapy. My interests lie at the intersection of psychology, culture, creativity, and nature, and how they influence our relationships and daily lives.

I work with adults, teens, college students, and LGBTQ+ clients, and also consult with creative, technology, nonprofit, and healthcare professionals and teams.

I am licensed in California, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania, and provide telehealth sessions exclusively. I also work with clients internationally in many countries.

Please visit my Contact page to inquire about treatment. I look forward to hearing from you.

May what I do flow from me

like a river,

no forcing

and no holding back,

the way it is with children.

-Rainer Maria Rilke

To be great, be whole: don't exaggerate

Or leave out any part of you.

Be complete in each thing. Put all you are

Into the least of your acts.

-Fernando Pessoa, 1933
